SOSNA has 5 active committees working to improve our community
Vision Zero Committee
The Vision Zero Committee advocates for safer streets and better pedestrian infrastructure in our neighborhood. We work with the city to improve crosswalks, traffic calming, and bike infrastructure.
Key Initiatives:

- Bike lane advocacy
- Pedestrian safety education
Clean & Green Committee
Our Clean & Green Committee organizes neighborhood cleanups, tree plantings, and beautification projects. We maintain the triangles and green spaces throughout the neighborhood.

- Quarterly neighborhood cleanups
- Tree planting and care
- Triangle beautification
- Graffiti removal
Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee supports local businesses and promotes economic growth in Graduate Hospital. We organize events like SOSNA Dines Out and the Holiday Crawl.

- SOSNA Dines Out promotions

- Business networking
- New business support
SOSNA Impact Committee
The SOSNA Impact Committee focuses on community engagement, special projects, and initiatives that directly benefit residents. We organize community-building events and social gatherings.

- Music in the Triangle

- Resident engagement

Zoning & Historic Preservation
Our Zoning Committee reviews development proposals and advocates for responsible growth that preserves the character of our historic neighborhood, including Black Doctors Row.

- Community input on zoning

Committee Meetings
Most committees meet monthly. General SOSNA meetings are held quarterly and are open to all residents.
